In 2007 we decided to make a dramatic change in the way we farm. The decision to uproot our sour cherries as well as some other trees allowed for much needed space for the planting of young vines. After much research and listening to advice offered from reputable friends in the winemaking industry, Cabernet Franc and Riesling were chosen as the best contenders for our flag-ship varietals. For a while, some of that fruit was sold to other wineries. Eventually we realized that starting our own label was the next step in our growth.
From these humble beginnings we have continued to grow thanks to an incredible wine maker, our excellent staff and an extremely loyal and supportive base of customers, both local and from abroad. We are steadfast in our decision to remain small and craft in order to continue offering only the absolute premium quality products. These convictions and efforts enable our small winery to stand strong alongside our neighbouring vineyards.
